To perform translation, message text is sent to our self-hosted translation matrix and, only if that matrix is unavailable, to Google Translate or LibreTranslate as a fallback. Translated text is returned to the channel it was sent from. Message content itself is never stored in any database and is not retained after the translation response is delivered.
The Bot maintains operational log files for troubleshooting (errors, connection status, fallback activity). These logs do not contain message content. They are retained at operator discretion for troubleshooting purposes; there is currently no fixed automatic deletion schedule.
When a server administrator enables or disables the profanity (“smurf”) filter, the action is recorded in a permanent audit log containing only: timestamp, server ID, server name, and the Discord user ID and username of the admin who made the change. No message content is included. This log is retained indefinitely for legal and compliance purposes and is not deleted automatically.
We store your Discord user ID, language preference set via /mylang or /setlang , and
last-active timestamp to manage DM delivery. Disable DM delivery with /dmoff . Delete
all stored preference data with /deletedata .
We store server ID, license/subscription tier, and channel-level configuration (excluded channels, majority-language settings) set by server admins.
The lead developer is a volunteer moderator in Trophy Hunter (Ten Square Games). No moderator data or privileged access from that role is used by the Bot.
Our self-hosted translation matrix processes message text on our own infrastructure. If that matrix is unavailable, Google Translate or LibreTranslate may be used as a fallback and will process message text solely to provide translation. Please review their respective privacy policies. No data is sold, rented, or shared for advertising purposes.
If you set a language preference, you may receive DMs containing translations from
channels you are active in. We track a 15-day activity window to prevent spam. Use/dmoff to opt out at any time.

Companies under a paid license tier (see Terms of Service) may request a Data Processing Addendum for GDPR/CCPA compliance. Enterprise tier supports on-premise LibreTranslate deployments for zero third-party data sharing.
This service is not directed to users under 13. Discord's Terms of Service apply.
